ABOUT VIVian

I'm a wife, mom, community builder, and craft beer lover. After attending beer events and visiting breweries where I was often one of the only people of color in the space, I knew something needed to change.

Hi, i'm vivian -
and i
love a good
craft
beer.

So I started creating the kind of beer experience I wanted to see.

how the exbeerience began

The ExBeerience began in my home.

I started hosting beer tasting events for friends and family because I wanted to create a space where people could learn about each beer, discover new flavors, and feel comfortable exploring the beer world together.

As I searched for Black-owned beers to feature, I realized how difficult they were to find through local distributors. That opened my eyes to a larger issue: Black brewers and Black-certified breweries needed more visibility, more support, and more intentional community backing them.

That became the beginning of The ExBeerience.

the

vision

Our vision is to create a sustainable business model within the craft beer industry by fostering community building, inclusivity, and cultural diversity.

By organizing community-focused events and collaborations, we aim to drive demand for craft beer, enhance consumer engagement, support economic growth within local beer markets, and highlighting black-owned breweries.

The ExBeerience Juneteenth

why this work matters

Craft beer should feel welcoming. Taprooms should feel inclusive. Communities should be able to gather, learn, laugh, and enjoy good beer without feeling like outsiders.

Beer brings people

together. People build community.

We are better and stronger together! Drink the good beer. Fight the good fight.
